Patriot Day, America's commemoration of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on our nation, has particular significance this year. It comes at a time when Americans are again being singled out for attack by new terrorist organizations, and freedom is increasingly under fire around the world.
CACI remembers the events of 9/11. CACI employees at the Pentagon helped evacuate survivors, a team at the State Department sustained vital emergency communications, and our New Jersey employees assisted first responders in the aftermath of the Twin Towers collapse.
The 9/11 attacks also shifted the paradigm for government support. CACI responded by building intelligence capabilities to help our government root out terrorists. We developed technologies to protect our warfighters and give them the fighting edge. We continue to deliver this same level of national security support today, committed to helping our government develop new capabilities and providing support that assists in the war on terror.
Our dedication to national security is reflected in our motto - CACI: Ever Vigilant. CACI people are fiercely vigilant for our customers and their critical missions. We provide information solutions and services that help safeguard our homeland and support our military men and women. And we act with good character and ethics, always doing the right thing for our customers and our country.
CACI seeks out military veterans when we recruit because of the unparalleled dedication and commitment they have displayed. For all our positions, we look for highly skilled professionals driven by a sense of service to our country. We believe CACI people are like no other in our commitment to the nation.
The world changed irrevocably on 9/11. The U.S. response, coupled with that of our allies, has been strong, and we've taken the fight to the terrorists. Countless plots have been discovered and prevented due to constant vigilance. CACI is proud to be a part of these efforts, and we believe all Americans must remain vigilant to support our nation and protect our freedoms.
This Patriot Day, please join us in remembering those who lost their lives that fateful day … and honoring those who have given so much, including the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, to ensure that it never happens again.
