CACI Celebrates Labor Day 2015
Labor Day as a holiday originated in the late 19th century. Its purpose was to honor working men and women at a time when most jobs were grueling, physically demanding tasks such as farming, mining, or laboring in the factories that gave rise to America’s economic growth in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Today, we remember the efforts of those who built America’s economic engine. Their hard work has created the opportunity for each of us to live in freedom and prosperity. And their legacy lives on in an American workforce that is the most talented and innovative in the world.
At CACI, we believe in the importance of working hard for our customers and dedicating our energies to supporting their critical missions. We see what the customer needs and wants, and we make it happen.
We also know how important it is to rest from that labor, to recharge the batteries and sharpen the saw. We encourage everyone to enjoy the holiday safely, with family and friends, and in remembrance of the generations of hard-working Americans who made our nation great.
Happy Labor Day from CACI!
